Dear Friends,

As usual, when I share from the scripture, it is done in the hopes that you will personally study the Bible and be blessed of God. Every detail of the scripture has depth of meaning, which is revealed by the Holy Spirit in the right timing and circumstances. Whenever, Moses is mentioned it catches my attention, because Moses was removed prior to the children of Israel entering the land. I believe it is prophetic of the removal of the bride of Christ, prior to the children of Israel being led into the land by Joshua. Yeshua means "God saves". Jesus will lead Israel into the land for the millenial reign.

Deu 34:10 And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,

Act 3:22 For Moses truly said unto the fathers, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear in all things whatsoever he shall say unto you.

Act 7:37 This is that Moses, which said unto the children of Israel, A prophet shall the Lord your God raise up unto you of your brethren, like unto me; him shall ye hear.

The number 70 is also interesting. It was the age of Terah when he had Abram, who later was named Abraham. The "h" is a breath, symbolic of the Holy Spirit. Seventy was the number of the children of Israel who entered Egypt. Seventy is the number of elders, and the number used to work on the Septuagint, the Greek translation of the Old Testament symbolized by LXX.

Gen 11:26 And Terah lived seventy years, and begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran.

Exd 1:5 And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt [already].

Moses was called out of Egypt, like Jesus Christ. The children of God are also called out of Egypt, which is a type of the world.

Hsa 11:1 When Israel [was] a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.

Mat 2:15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son.

The children of Israel were told to expect a prophet like unto Moses.

Exd 24:1 And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.

Sacrifice came with some amount of time.

Exd 24:9 Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:

It is interesting to note that the first time they were afraid to go up, despite the fact that God had ask them to come up to the mountain. It was the second time they came up. I believe it was an event like the transfiguration, where we got a glimpse into the eternity. Whenever, God tells you to come up, you must obey, because if you don't do it the first time you end of wandering in the desert and suffering for a long time. When they first had an opportunity to enter the land, failed to believe the two witnesses out of 12, which resulted in having to wander in the desert until they died. I believe those who believe the promises of God will be raptured prior to the Great Tribulation. Many will be saved after that, but many who are saved will have to die first.

In the book of Numbers chapter 7, there are several references to bowls of silver weighing 70 shekels. Silver is symbolic of blood.(See chapter 7) I believe whenever something is repeated over and over again, God is trying to tell us something.

Num 7:13 And his offering [was] one silver charger, the weight thereof [was] an hundred and thirty [shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them [were] full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

Num 7:19 He offered [for] his offering one silver charger, the weight whereof [was] an hundred and thirty [shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

Num 7:25 His offering [was] one silver charger, the weight whereof [was] an hundred and thirty [shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

Num 7:31 His offering [was] one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty [shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

Num 7:37 His offering [was] one silver charger, the weight whereof [was] an hundred and thirty [shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

Num 7:43 His offering [was] one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty [shekels], a silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

Num 7:49 His offering [was] one silver charger, the weight whereof [was] an hundred and thirty [shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

Num 7:55 His offering [was] one silver charger of the weight of an hundred and thirty [shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

Num 7:61 His offering [was] one silver charger, the weight whereof [was] an hundred and thirty [shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

Num 7:67 His offering [was] one silver charger, the weight whereof [was] an hundred and thirty [shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

Num 7:73 His offering [was] one silver charger, the weight whereof [was] an hundred and thirty [shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

Num 7:79 His offering [was] one silver charger, the weight whereof [was] an hundred and thirty [shekels], one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering:

Since it is mentioned 12 times, it likely refers to Israel. The fine flour gets my attention, because in Leviticus 14:21 the offering is mentioned as for the purpose of atonement. In Leviticus 23, which is refers to the feasts of Moses, the lamb and the offering with fine mingled flour has to do with Passover.

Lev 14:21 And if he [be] poor, and cannot get so much; then he shall take one lamb [for] a trespass offering to be waved, to make an atonement for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a meat offering, and a log of oil;

Lev 23:13 And the meat offering thereof [shall be] two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, an offering made by fire unto the LORD [for] a sweet savour: and the drink offering thereof [shall be] of wine, the fourth [part] of an hin.

The concept of redemption uses money to redeem is interesting. Five shekels are used. Five being the number of grace.

Num 18:15,16 Every thing that openeth the matrix in all flesh, which they bring unto the LORD, [whether it be] of men or beasts, shall be thine: nevertheless the firstborn of man shalt thou surely redeem, and the firstling of unclean beasts shalt thou redeem.

And those that are to be redeemed from a month old shalt thou redeem, according to thine estimation, for the money of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, which [is] twenty gerahs.

The concept is redemption of the firstborn by blood.

Seventy years were the desolations of Jerusalem, seventy years of captivity and seventy weeks to accomplish the things mentioned in Daniel 9.

Dan 9:2 In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem.

Dan 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

Zec 7:5 Speak unto all the people of the land, and to the priests, saying, When ye fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh [month], even those seventy years, did ye at all fast unto me, [even] to me?

Mat 18:22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Jesus said to forgive seventy times seven times.

Luk 10:1 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.

Luk 10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through thy name.

Jesus also appointed seventy to go out with the Gospel.

ODDS and ENDS

Sometimes, it is useful to look at the meanings of the names.

Moses: taken out; drawn forth
Aaron: a teacher; lofty; mountain of strength
Abihu: he is my father
Nadab: free and voluntary gift; prince
Israel: God, the God of Israel

Interesting? It is good to look at every detail. If you don't understand, pray about it, and be open to God speaking to you through his Word.
