Dear Karen,

That is very good news indeed concerning your dad. It seems that knowledge of medicine increases on a daily basis. I'm glad your dad is benefitting from that increased knowledge. I do know from the scripture that God gave people gifts to use to help relieve suffering. Prayer is our first option, but God often works in conventional ways through physicians and other caregivers. God has sent ordinary people to represent him, but he has given some of us gifts. Love is a huge factor in healing. The love of a daughter to her dad is more precious than gold. The love of God is expressed through his Word. You and your family, especially your dad continues in my prayers.

I'm looking forward to spending a bit more time on that messageboard, but I'm not sure when that will be possible. I'm accustomed to being able to jot down notes and post them quickly, but the scripts are disabled there, so what little time I have is not well spent. It is God's love through his Word that must go out. It does further hinder communication, having to re-type everything in order to post. It's okay for a chatting fellowship, but it prevents serious Bible discussions, which must be the focus with the limited resources the Lord has given us. The time must be redeemed.

Blessings,

theophilos
